My Story

As a legal professional from a line of entrepreneurs, I’ve always been drawn to the intricacies of law and business. My passion lies in helping individuals and small businesses navigate their world with effective planning. Whether it’s safeguarding a family’s legacy, ensuring a company’s smooth transition, or resolving existing disputes, I find purpose in guiding my clients toward well-executed strategies.

I have seen firsthand the adverse effects of poorly executed plans. The aftermath can be overwhelming, including legal issues, emotional stress, and financial difficulties. However, it is precisely this challenge that motivates me to help my clients. I work closely with them, making the process easy to understand and ensuring their wishes are documented and smoothly executed. Whether drafting wills and trusts, handling probate administration, crafting business plans, resolving probate or business disputes, or navigating bankruptcy cases, I strive to be the steady hand that relieves the burden during challenging times.

When I am not in the office, you can find me on the golf course, trying to perfect my swing, or spending time at home with my wife, McKenna, and our son.

Background & Expertise

After graduating with a joint degree from Drake University (J.D. with high honors and M.B.A, 2020), I spent nearly 3 years working in my family’s business before joining Shindler, Anderson, Goplerud & Weese, P.C. This business experience and education have provided me with a unique perspective when representing my clients. Before earning my degrees from Drake University, I studied Economics and Business Management at Central College in Pella, Iowa (B.A. summa cum laude, 2017).
