My Story

Junior High is where dreams take shape. It was there, during a mock trial, that I glimpsed my future. The courtroom became my compass, and every step I took afterward was directed toward that singular goal: becoming an attorney.

Outside of work you can typically find me at the ball field, my wife and I cheering on our kids. But we’re also culinary adventurers—self-proclaimed “foodies” on a quest for hidden gems in our metro.

Background & Expertise

As a lifelong Iowan, I received both my undergraduate and graduate degrees from Drake University in Des Moines, Iowa (J.D. and B.A. in Economics).

As a lawyer specializing in family and juvenile cases, I often find myself at the intersection of legal disputes and human emotions. Clients come to me looking for guidance during difficult times. My goal is to meet them where they are and understand their legal and emotional burdens. It’s more than just handling case files; it’s about helping to heal.
