My Story

The day when my client shed tears of joy after a favorable outcome of their case, I realized the profound impact of practicing law. As an attorney, I often guide clients through their most challenging moments. Recognizing the weight of my role fuels my commitment to my clients.

I live with my wife and our three boys in Urbandale. And when I’m not coaching youth sports or spending quality time with them, I enjoy a game of golf and hitting the pavement for a run. My family and I are members of Lutheran Church of Hope in West Des Moines.

Background & Expertise

Before graduating from Drake University with dual graduate degrees in law (J.D., with high honors, 2007) and business (M.B.A., 2007), I attended Simpson College in Indianola, Iowa (B.A., magna cum laude, 2004).

I have been in private legal practice since 2007, representing individuals and corporations through litigations and arbitrations.
