As a specialist in personal injury and class action lawsuits, I’ve seen firsthand how the right legal support can turn a person’s life around.

Background & Expertise

After receiving my undergraduate degree from the University of Iowa (B.A. 1982), I attended Drake University Law School in Des Moines, Iowa, where I graduated with honors in 1990 (J.D. Order of the Coif) and served as the Editor for the Drake Law Review.

While attending law school in 1990, I authored a note in the Drake Law Review titled “Liability of Schools and Coaches: The Current Status of Sovereign Immunity and Assumption of the Risk”, 39 Drake Law Review 759. The note examined the potential liability of schools and coaches for athletic injuries to student-athletes at the time. My passion for education and the community is fueled by my Drake Law School adjunct professorship (1993-Present). I have taught Negotiations, Pre-Trial Advocacy, and Mediation.

Since beginning my career as an attorney, I’ve had the privilege of representing clients across a wide variety of personal injury and class action cases including:
